Our paper 'Rhythm is a Dancer' has been accepted for publication at IEEE TVCG

We present a music-driven neural framework that generates realistic human motions, which are rich, avoid repetitions, and jointly form a global structure that respects the culture of a specific dance genre (link to arXiv). The paper is accepted for publication at IEEE Visualization and Computer Graphics with Impact Factor: 4.579

3D reconstruction: Limassol Municipal University Library

Check out our recent work in 3D building reconstruction! Limassol Municipal University Library was built in 1931 (started in 1917), and it was known as Megaro Pilavaki (Μέγαρο Πηλαβάκη). CLIPE Training Workshop 1: Summer School on Virtual Humans

The H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), Innovative Training Networks (ITN) project CLIPE (https://www.clipe-itn.eu/) has organised its 1st training workshop - a summer school on Virtual Humans, in Cyprus from the 13th until the 17th of September 2021.
The workshop provided the participants an overview of the latest developments in technology and applications in the field of virtual characters. The workshop was be held in Adams Beach Hotel in Ayia Napa but it was a hybrid event, giving the opportunity to participants to join the workshop online. DanceDB now in the AMASS database

Our dance motion capture database (DanceDB), that consists of data with professional dancers, has been released by the AMASS database in SMPL body model parameters. Visit our new Cyprus 3D reptiles website. This is a joint project with Terra Cypria, and the ultimate target is to develop a publicly accessible repository of accurate animated 3D models of Cyprus reptiles, including tangible aspects of the reptilia on the island, e.g., shape, colour, dimensions, postures, but also intangible aspects e.g., movements, gestures and signals.
